Listening to the enviroment

I think that people can learn about enviromentally friendly practices in too many spaces. In the television, for example, there are some programs related with the enviromt (not enough), in the internet you can found some articles that teach practical about how to care our environment. Also the people can approach to organizations who care about enviromentally friendly practices.
can I be honest? I don´t have habits of recycle, in fact in my life I don´t worry too much about the enviroment, it´s the ugly truth. I love ride a bike, but not in streets of Santiago. Here I use the “Transantiago” , trasportation very unfrienddly with the enviroment. Well, I never joined or supported any eco-organisations, not because I don´t want, it is because the concern about the enviroment not born in me yet.
I think that never is late for worrying about something, soo since this moment I´ll start to pay attention in matters related with the enviroment because I know the importance from this topic in our lifes, for our planet.
Something tha I´ll make in the future would be plant a tree this for make to Santiago a city more environmentally friendly.
Since this moment I begin to listen our enviroment.

Animals- Cat, the best of all

I´ve always liked cats, I do not know exactly why, Maybe it´s because they are loving and at the same time of free spirit . As a pet, it´s one of the most popular pets around the world. Their domestication is relatively recent. In centuries old the figure of the cat was sacred in some cultures as in the Egyptian and Japanese. The cat is an animal of hunter spirit, but this changes a little when they are living with humans in their homes. It´s not known exactly what was the first culture to tame them, but they have always been associated with the Egyptians domestication. In Egypt the punishment for killing a cat was the death penalty. During the middle Ages, the cat were considered family of witches. In the present also the cat are related with the bad luck, the black cat specifically.

The cats are friendly although some times they can suffer diseases like the stress, which will make them have a neurotic personality.

What I like about them can be their body, their eyes are the most amazing about them. Their look are penetrating (I love it), their eyes change according their state of mind, some times they are small and others are big.

Now in my house I have a female cat, her name is “Monona” and I have had it for about 6 year ago, she is old now but continuous to be like a little kitten.

My favorite kind of music

At this point in my life my favorite style of music is Cumbia. Cumbia is a musical genre and traditional folk dance of Colombia, but the Chilean Cumbia is a subgenre emerged in Chile in the 60 derived from the Colombian cumbia, incorporating elements of Chilean music, both folk and popular. It has a great popularity both in its traditional as well as in their current versions, such as Cumbia Cumbia Romantic and New Chilean Cumbia.
The cumbia I like because it transmits joy and represents in large part to the popular world, a world to which I've linked all my life.
I also like the ability of cumbia to unite generations around the music, dance, songs, because there are issues that have been around for many years in all Chilean parties. The songs I dance now, the dancing years ago my grandparents.
Some of the historical representatives of the Chilean cumbia, La Sonora de TommyRey, Los Viking 5, La Sonora Palacios and between the new representatives are Chico Trujillo, Juana Fe, Villa Cariño and Banda Conmoción.

Breast implants: the first 50 years

The silicone breast enlargement is one of the operations most popular in the US and the UK, and many other countries, particularly Chile has seen a growth in the numbers of women who perform this operation. But, the question is Why do women do this? The answer is purely social sense. Why do women want to change their body? All are questions that the sociology can respond.

The article begins by telling the story of how breast surgery was born. The story is fun, because the idea of breast implants was born from a doctor which one asked to remove a single tatoo. The article tells how the doctors created the first implants which were tested in a dog.

Next, explains how the 50-year history of breast implants had begun, a history of controversy and success. It presents some of which could be the reasons why women operate: many for cosmetic reasons, and a significant proportion for reconstruction following a mastectomy, or for transsexual people transitioning from male to female.

Then presents some arguments for the practice and others do not, along with specific data about the history of the implant.

Finally it shows the case of a writer (Jennifer Hayashi Danns) to talk about breast implants, and as she related to a materialistic and superficial society. She concludes that the function of the breast that's enhanced for cosmetic reasons is its sexual display.
